Hey, I'm Heather!
I'm a lifestyle content creator and writer, with a love for timeless design, good food, frequent travel, and a classic stripe. I grew up in Richmond, VA and went on to the University of Virginia, where I studied Art History and Architectural History. I've been writing and designing for as long as I can remember, and I love projects where I can bring together stories about how culture, style, home, and tradition inform and rely on one another. Give me an opportunity to talk about why open floor plans no longer work with the way we live now or how provenance and history are critical to shaping a dining experience, and I'm there.
I split my time between my condo in the Capitol Hill neighborhood in Washington, DC and cottage on the Rappahannock River near Urbanna, VA. When I'm not at my laptop, you'll find me strolling the streets of Capitol Hill capturing 19th century architectural details, planning my next weekend trip, hitting yet another estate sale, or embracing my community of creatives in DC and beyond.
