I'm a lifestyle content creator and writer. I’m also a Capitol Hill resident in Washington, DC with a love for good design, good food, frequent travel, and the occasional leopard print.

Originally from the now super-hip city of Richmond, Virginia, I grew up wanting to be a writer or an interior designer – and, now, I suppose a do a little bit of both. I ventured up the road to Charlottesville, Virginia to attend the University of Virginia (go Hoos!). I studied Art History and Architectural History and, after college, I worked at small interior design firms in both Charlottesville and Washington, DC. In DC, I found an amazing and inspiring creative community and a place to call home.

Along the way, I started blogging and switched careers to a path that led me to my current role working as a Digital Content Director and Copywriter for a creative agency, where most of my work is focused on hospitality/hotel clients. No guarantee on whether I’m staying in DC for life or not — I married a Texan after all — but I’m happy to have landed here…even if we don’t have representation in the Senate.
